BHM 2025 – A Conversation on Housing Precarity

Building Bridges with Rwanda, in collaboration with Douglas College in New Westminster, hosted a Black History Month (BHM) event — a vital conversation with members of the African community to explore the challenges and solutions to housing precarity affecting people of African descent in New Westminster.

We aim to build on the success of Moytel Lelam, where, for the first time, African and Indigenous communities have joined forces to create housing solutions for their families.
